The Kansas education system is continually lauded for being one of the best in the nation, and we plan to keep it that way thanks to a generous 37 percent annual budget allocation (also one of the highest in the nation). Nearly 90 percent of Kansas adults have a high school diploma, and we are among the top states for:

• percent of adults with a college degree (13th)
• average ACT score (16th)
• pupil-to-teacher ratio (18th)
• students per computer (7th)
